Thank you to everyone who came along, we had an amazing time! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
The Lotus Drivers Club had an amazing and enjoyable time in Pembrokeshire on one of their recent ‘run to the coast’ road trips.
Using Saundersfoot Harbour as their base, they ventured along the Pembrokeshire coast and into the countryside, taking in some epic scenery on their way, including Manorbier, the Preseli Hills and St. Davids, to name just a few of the places they stopped off at.
There were 22 Lotus owners from around the United Kingdom who turned out for this epic road trip, including Newtown Lotus Cwmbran who made the journey to Saundersfoot in support with three of their newest Lotus models.
However, we have to agree that the award for the furthest travelled went to Britta and Roland who travelled over 800 miles from Hanover, Germany, in their Lotus Elise S1.
It was great to see so many Lotus enthusiasts turning up to explore the Pembrokeshire coast, some for the very first time. Not only were we welcomed by some much relieved sunshine, but the Saundersfoot residents, visitors and businesses gave us just as warm a welcome.
There has already been talk of returning next year, but for now we’re looking forward to our next adventure to Le Mans in July.
The Lotus Drivers Club are indebted to David and Sian Boneham who did a great deal to organise the event, along with the Saundersfoot Harbour team who looked after them over the weekend.
A big thank you to the Gower Hotel, the Salvage Bar and the Old Chemist Inn for their accommodation and sustenance over the weekend, which was greatly appreciated.
