Euro JK: Anindith Reddy clean sweeps finale weekend with Race 4 win at Buddh
It was another dominating effort from Anindith Reddy, who took away the race from pole to clean sweep the 2017 Euro JK finale weekend at the Buddh International Circuit.
The Hyderabad-based driver was unchallenged all-through the 10 laps, further stamping his authority after having already clinched the title in the previous race.
In the battle for second, Nayan Chatterjee lost to Lorenzo Pegoraro at the start, but the Mumbaikar came back on Lap 3 to retake the position to finish his weekend with four podiums.
The 2017 season's runner-up Visnhu Prasad secured the final podium position after clearing first Diljith TS and then Pegoraro on the penultimate lap.
The Italian guest driver was fourth eventually, with Sri Lanka's Bryan Perera finishing a superb fifth, after starting from the back of the grid.
Behind, Diljith was eventually classified sixth, ahead of Chennai's Ashwin Datta, with Kolkata's Arya Singh ending up eighth in his battle against Datta.
It was an up and down race for Nirmal Uma Shankar, who once peaked in sixth place, but dropped at the back of the grid midway into the race after a moment.
However, Shankar recovered from the blip to finish ninth, having cleared Ahmedabad's Mira Erda, Faridabad's Manav Sharma and guest racer Saran Vikram.
