Euro JK: Anindith Reddy edges closer to title with Race 2 win at Buddh

It was another straightforward display from pole-sitter Anindith Reddy in Race 2 of the 2017 Euro JK finale weekend at the Buddh International Circuit.

The Hyderabad-born driver led all the 10 laps to make it two wins in a row in a perfect start to the weekend where he is ever-closer to retain the Euro JK title.

Title contender Vishnu Prasad had to be content with second, with Nayan Chatterjee in third - which became a repeat of the podium from Race 1.

Reddy goes into the final day of the season with a 18 points advantage over Prasad - with the Hyderabadi driver just needing to carry on with his Day 1 momentum to win the title.

Behind, Renault Clio Cup driver Lorenzo Pegoraro was fourth, after the Italian made a move on British F3 race winner Krishnaraaj Mahadik midway in the race.

Also, Nirmal Uma Shankar made up two positions on Ashwin Datta and Arya Singh to be sixth, with Datta ending up seventh and Singh in eighth.

The Top 10 was rounded off by series returning Diljith TS and Manav Sharma, with Mira Erda finishing in 11th.
