Exotics at Redmond Town Center Opening Day 2021
The Best Day of the Year
Exotics at Redmond Town Center is a seasonal series of car shows held in Redmond Town Center every year, starting in April and ending in September. The shows are held on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00, weather permitting. There is no admission fee, and certain cars are not allowed.
Opening Day was supposed to be two weeks ago, but was delayed due to weather. I left just before 8:00 so that I could watch the cars show up and get better pictures of the cars before the hundreds of spectators arrived.
I saw several cars there that I've spotted previously on my daily bike rides, and some that I saw on 3 October 2020. Because Exotics@RTC was not allowed to do group events, they instead had one weekend where people drove up in their cars for pictures. I was the only spectator.
I remained masked the entire time except when a picture was taken of me sitting in one the cars.
Also, great news: my brother @Jacob Blockhan and I are getting our second doses of the covid vaccine on Tuesday!
