Right off the at I fully admit I am not a motorcycle gear expert. There are some riders that would never throw a leg over a bike with head to two gear. That simply is not me for better or worse. Actually my helmet is more only piece of motorcycle specific gear I own.

In the past when the temperatures start to drop I will toss on a pair of Mechanix branded gloves. Nothing special at all. Just a cheap pair of readily available gloves. My main complaint was that they were not wind proof and over time would start to get cold. I saw some Alpinestars Thermo Shielder Gloves for $40 and decided to give them a try. At some point I cant have a garage full of Italian exotic motorcycles and no good gear.

My first impression was "Wow, I should have gotten these a while ago". Super well made with nice materials. Way better than the work gloves.

Can see mall, but meaningful differences between the motorcycle and work gloves. The silicon additions for grip for better feel, the curved fingers to match how your hands are while riding and the tighter wrists just to name a few.

The fit is amazing, and these suckers are warm. They will allow me to ride much latter into the season then before.

Super happy with the purchase.

These are not armored track gloves. There are no hard shells or viscose elastic materials. They allow me to still operate all the buttons on the bike, so not hindrance.

What do you guys like for a winter glove?
