Lewis Hamilton: 9/10

The Brit earns a 9 for his performance today. Lewis had a decent start of the race keeping his position and defending from Max but then lost out to max after the safety car restart to become third. Hamilton fought back and overtook both Max and Valtteri to lead comfortably till the end of the race.

Max Verstappen: 7.5/10

Super Max started the race well catching Lewis napping after the safety car restart to become second but then his lack of pace saw him fall back to third midway. A strong out lap by the Dutch made him catch Valtteri Bottas to finish the race in second. Verstappen had the chance to score an extra point with the fastest lap but he blew his chances after going wide and exceeding track limits on the last lap of the race.

Valtteri Bottas: 7/10

The flying Finn earns a generous 7 mainly for his good start and his fastest lap of the race. Valtteri starting on Pole position and keeping his car out of trouble in the early laps should've probably finished higher than 3rd.

Sergio Perez: 7.5/10

Checo starting 4th on the grid and finishing on the same position has gotten surely his teams' satisfaction. Although the Mexican has had a bad start falling down the order, he kept his composure and raced back up the field again. His long stint on the mediums was only possible thanks to his tire management skills that would have payed of in case of Safety Car incidence happening towards the end.

Lando Norris: 8/10

The young Lando starting the race in 7th place has finished 5th. Awesome job by Norris especially in the opening laps where he overtook Ocon, Sainz and then Perez to hold 4th place in the race. Ultimately Norris conceded to Perez but managed to keep the Ferrari behind.

Charles Leclerc: 7.5/10

The Monegasque starting 8th finished 6th scoring a good amount of points for the team. His score of 7.5 is thanks to his good race pace and the 2 places he has gained during the 66 laps.

Esteban Ocon: 6/10

Esteban, after his very good qualifying session on Saturday that put him 6th of the grid, has finished 7th on Sunday. There is a feeling of some points left on the table for the Frenchman especially after seeing that Portimao track seems to suit well the Alpine team.

Fernando Alonso: 8/10

The 2 time world champion earns very much his score of 8 after starting in 13th place and finishing 8th. The Spaniard was flying at the end of the race and was matching the pace of the front runners. The maneuvers on Ricciardo and Sainz saw him bag decent points for his team.

Daniel Ricciardo: 7/10

The honey badger starting 16th after a shocker of a qualifying session has made his place up the ladder to finish 9th. Very good tire management and a decent race pace made him finish in the points.

Pierre Gasly: 6.5/10

The AlphaTauri racing driver had a very monotonous race finishing 10th after starting 1 position higher has earned him a 6.5 score.

Carlos Sainz: 4.75/10

The new Ferrari driver had a very good start of the race where he picked up a place from Perez in the start. After him outqualifying his teammate for a 5th position on the starting grid he fell down the order to finish 11th. This outcome is mainly due to his very early first pitstop and perhaps to a lack of tire management in the next stint from his side.

Antonio Giovinazzi: 6.5/10

Starting 12th and finishing 12th in one of the slowest cars of the pack is a considerable result for the Alfa Romeo team. Even though Antonio failed to score a point his drive today was worth an above average score of 6.5.

Sebastian Vettel: 5/10

The German starting 10th and finishing 13th is a proof that the Aston Martin team is nowhere the speed it had last year under the Racing Point name. Vettel keeping his position in the early phase of his first stint started falling down the order towards lap 20 of the race and couldn't bounce back after his pitstop.

Lance Stroll: 5.5/10

The Canadian starting 17th ended up in 14th place. Lance gaining 3 places during the race but failing to reach the points.

Yuki Tsunoda: 4/10

Yuki after his very promising first F1 race has failed so far to deliver. Starting the race in 14th place he ended up losing one more position to finish 15th in Portugal.

George Russel: 5/10

GR 63 or Mr. Saturday as the paddock calls him has finished in a sad 16th position in Portimao. The lack of performance by George is maybe due to his ride but, nevertheless, everyone expected a points finish by him in this race especially after his good quali run.

Mick Schumacher: 7/10

Even though the German started 19th and finished 17th, his very good race pace, his compliance with the blue flags and his last superb move on Latifi earned him a well deserved 7 out of 10.

Nicholas Latifi: 3/10

Nicholas yet again fails to perform. The 25 year old Canadian keeping his starting position of 18th thanks to the incident of Kimi Raikkonen. Latifi earns 3 points for finishing the race and for his sportsmanship with Mick during their last battle.

Nikita Mazepin: 0.5/10

Niktia finished 19th from 19th cars racing. Mazepin earned a 5 seconds race penalty from the stewards for ignoring blue flags and earned a 0.5 point from me for not crashing and finishing the race.

Kimi Raikkonen (DNF): 2/10

Bad day for the Iceman and for his fans, a rookie mistake from the veteran in the very first lap of the race made him retire with a broken front wing and a hurt ego.
