F2 News: Charouz Announces 2021 Drivers
Beckmann and Samaia join their ranks for the new season.
AntonÃn Charouz"We had already the pleasure to work with Beckmann and Samaia in testing, and the results were positive and encouraging for both."
David Beckmann and Guilherme Samaia have both been announced as the 2021 drivers for the Charouz Racing System team.
Beckmann will make the step up to Formula 2 after competing near the front of the 2020 Formula 3 field. The German clinched two wins and five podiums with Trident during his second season last year, finishing sixth overall.
The 20-year-old – who also has experience in ADAC and Italian Formula 4, as well as the now defunct European F3 Championship – debuted for Charouz during the post-season tests in Bahrain.
Samaia makes the switch to the Czech team’s line-up, as he joins them from F2 rivals Campos Racing.
The 24-year-old is a former Brazilian Formula 3 Champion and also has experience in BRDC F3, European Open and Spanish F3.

One of them is good...
And the other will get a chance to prove himself.
Samaia?!?!?!
The one and only.
Well okay. At least he's only slow and not a trashcan like Deledda or Mazepin...and faster than our Lord.
