Callum Ilott narrowly beat his teammate, Maxi Gunther, to pole for Race 1 in Austria, making it a Prema front row. Joel Eriksson made a return to the front end of the grid, putting it in fourth, with Championship leader, Lando Norris coming in 4th, suffering from understeer. Norris only has to outscore his main championship rival, Gunther, by one point this weekend to clinch the title so will be hoping for a blinding start to get himself up front early on. Fellow Brit, Jake Hughes, Qualified 10th but was forced to make an engine change and will take a to place grid penalty for the race. Home talent, Ferdinand Habsburg also has a grid penalty to serve and will drop from 9th to 12th, following Mawson's penalty. Race 1 gets underway at 9.40am (UK Time) #F3
