Dodge has partnered with Radford Driving School again to provide new owners of its the chance to experience a range of its performance cars.

The main reason they've done this is to teach people how to control fast cars due to an increase in accidents on the roads. So, Dodge is offering an advanced driving course through the Radford Racing School where you can drive cars including the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, and Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

This essentially means those who purchase a new SRT Hellcat vehicle will receive a day at the Radford Racing School to help inexperienced drivers understand the dynamics of these sports cars in a safe and controlled environment.

Mike Kessler, Radford Racing School's general manager, said: "Dodge is in our DNA. There's simply no better way to describe our relationship.

"Dodge is an icon of American performance with their line of SRT vehicles, and we couldn't be more honoured to showcase the capabilities of these cars every day on our track. Every student who takes one of our courses is simply blown away by the handling, power, and technology that's engineered into every SRT vehicle. This is the best place on the planet to experience what these cars are made of, on our legendary racetrack and with our world-class team of instructors."

The American car brand has been a sponsor of the Radford Driving School since 2015 and by adding their cars to the fleet yet again, they have signed a multi-year deal to ensure more drivers are given the proper experience behind the wheel.

  • I turned down a drive in a bracket car. 1969 Impala with SBC400 pushing 550 at the wheels. Tubbed, caged - this was the real deal. I passed for one reason ... the front end comes up four feet upon launch. You can't get out of it or it's wall time. "You have to stay in it" was the word from the owner. Nope. Not because I couldn't handle it. That's wasn't it. Scared? Pffft, come on - been dead. That's wasn't it. I made six figures so money wasn't really an issue except it was. If I wrecked his car it would come from my pocket. I didn't know how this car was set up. I watched him be the most consistent time-and-again in Memphis circa 2000-03. I knew it was good. But I hadn't even driven the car or any drag car. I wasn't about to have my learning moment in that car. I needed to start smaller and learn how to race before I stepped into the big boys toys. This Radford school would be a great place to learn! Learn before you burn.
