Farewell and Thank You to Everyone on DRIVETRIBE!

2 Years Ago...

I first created my DRIVETRIBE account, setting out on a quest to get my automotive content recognised and I must say it's been a massive success. As an aspiring automotive journalist and having always had a love for anything on wheels, I jumped on the idea as soon as I found out about the then 3-year-old site. Now, I'm sure most of you fellow DRIVETRIBERS reading this have heard the saddening news today that after 5 years, DRIVETRIBE will unfortunately be shutting down its website and app. Although this is a major blow for many others and myself, I will be forever grateful to everyone who's participated in my quizzes, helped me to name an obscure vehicle, bumped my posts or even just read them. I would also like a say a special thank you to all the ambassadors who have promoted and supported my work over these two years.

Looking Ahead...

Now as DRIVETRIBE was my main social media platform, I will now be looking into something to replace it. This may be something specifically car related or even a mainstream app such as Instagram. If you would like to follow me on a site after the closure of DRIVETRIBE at the end of this month, I do have a YouTube channel where I post content not too regularly, but I put a lot of time and effort into each video I make. My channel is called 'Poncho202'. As well as car-based videos, I also post lots more content such as travel and gaming.

Finally...

As you might have guessed, this will be my last mainstream post on DRIVETRIBE, however I will continue to be active in the comments and spotting sections of the app until its closure later this month. It's been a pleasure interacting with everyone on here and I wish everyone the best, whether you plan to go into automotive journalism or not!
