Not wanting the set the proverbial cat among the pigeons here on DriveTribe but I want to state ere and now that I think the Fast and Furious franchise has reached its end. Its had a good run and there's no shame in ending a well loved franchise. Spanning eight films in total (with a rumored two more in the pipeline) it has come a long long way from its street racing days in downtown Los Angeles. Dom and the gang have traveled the world going to London, Brazil and Abu Dhabi and have taken part in wildly over the top stunts such as jumping through a skyscraper and driving out of a plane. The moment this franchise went too far was when the gang brought down an entire military pane using nothing more than their vehicles on the worlds longest runway. And it looks like action is ramped up to even more ridiculous levels in the new one, The Fate of the Furious with none other than a submarine bursting through the frosty landscape and giving chase to the team. While I may be on a downer about these films I should say I have enjoyed these films and they bring in billions of pounds at the box office. Should these films need to carry on? If so, what can they do that they haven't already done within the laws of physics and believabilty? I think that its time to finally put this successful film series to an end.
