Friday night on the Sofa with a Pizza? Count me in! And if you are planning on doing that in Japan, there's a good chance it will be delivered on one of these.
Pizza-La is Japan's largest Pizza chain, and the name is a pun combining "Pizza" with "Godzilla", apparently.
The Tomica model comes with its own little stand and flag, which fits together with the Tomica Town Piiza-La store. And that's not the first time Tomica have made a Pizza bike either, the first one appeared all the way back in 1989!
The current one sticks pretty close of the 1:1 vehicle, but at a scale of 1/39, it is a fair bit larger than your average 3 inch model.
And being Japanese, the company has a mascot that appears in its commercials, Pizza-La Kun. A talking slice of Pizza.
Personally, I think I will stick to my local Italian Pizzeria - but maybe, next time in Tokyo, I might check it out.
