When it was new, the 914 earned itself a reputation for being an arguably better-handling car than the contemporary 911 due to its mid-engined layout. Sit in the snug seat, grab the small steering wheel, and revel in the little Porsche’s nimble control as you dart from corner to corner. With 99bhp available, the enlarged 2.0L inline 4 in the updated '73 914 was good for over 190km/h, with 100km/h coming up in under ten seconds. The Bumblebee was finished in black with contrasting Summer Yellow lower sections and many otherwise optional items were standard on these limited edition models, including driving lights, dual horns, a leather covered steering wheel, and a centre console with clock, voltmeter, and oil temperature gauge. They are scarce too, with only 500 being manufactured.
