Fernando Alonso to publish his autobiography at the end of 2018
The book will carry anecdotes on the Spaniard's life and career.
Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso will publish his autobiography at the end of 2018, it has been reported by Planeta - the publishers for the forthcoming book.
The 36-year-old has been preparing for his autobiography for few years now, trying to assemble as many snippets from his life and career from the people he has spent time with.
"I've been very excited about this announcement, I've been collecting with some of the people closest to me the anecdotes and the most important events of my life," said Alonso.
"I've been fortunate enough to be able to compete, not without a huge dose of sacrifice, in some of the best sports organizations in the world.
"To them [his family, his well-wishers, his support system] I will always be eternally grateful and for them I have decided to write my most intimate experiences, which will probably surprise many of the readers."
Its being said, the book will give a first account of Alonso's personal side and reveal the true story around his racing career - from his days in Go-Karting to the latest adventure in the Indy500.
The Spaniard will also write about his dreams and aspirations of life outside F1, sharing more details on his Museum and the race track 'Museo y Circuito Fernando Alonso'.
The book is expected to be published in multiple languages for a world wide reach. "If there is something that I am especially proud of is having such a wide hobby and that is distributed all over the world, without forgetting the international sponsors and supports that I have been receiving throughout my career in very different countries.
"So, one of the goals I want to achieve with the publication of my book is that anyone who wants to read it can do it in their native language."
