Ferrari 250 PF Cab Restoration

- The condition of the body when we received it.
- In the paint booth after extensive metal and bodywork.
- Painting the inside of the trunk lid.
- Our team had to fabricate some of the parts for this vehicle. We have done several 250GT Pf cabs, so we were able to borrow some parts to fabricate new ones.
- We rebuilt the engine, and mounted it on the cart to get it perfected.
- Several hides of custom-dyed leather were used to create the stock interior.
- Our team installing the engine after rebuilding and all of the paint/body work.
- Organization is key when it's time for assembly.
- Once again, every part is bagged and tagged to make sure assembly goes smoothly.
- Assembly continues with interior and trim parts coming next.
- Close up of the original PF badge.
- Every last part of this car was reconditioned or refurbished.
- The wiring harness and gauges were next.
- After re-chroming the bows, our trimmer created a new soft top from scratch.
- Mid-way through the soft top procedure.
- Original badging restored and installed.
- Asssembling the 'egg crate' grill after refinishing was a challenge.
- The interior nearing completion. All interior work as well as metal and body and mechanical are done at Farland Classic Restoration.
- Passenger door card assembly.
- Getting closer as our shop manager Luis gets the dash finished.
- Complete! Just in time for Cavallino.
- The finished interior before sending off to the show.
- The finished engine/bay.
- Arriving at Cavallino to be judged.
- Winner! The car won a Platinum Award as well as the Wayne Obry Memorial Award for Excellence in Restoration. AND, an Excellence Award from Mar-A-Lago.

  • Great documentary of a fantastic restoration of the 250PF Cab. Did I see this car at Amelia a few years ago? If so it's incredible!!!

  • I think this car looked its best in the second photo (in spray booth) - the shape of the body with nothing to detract from its beautiful shape. PURE SCULPTURE :-)
