The incident happened on the popular Tail of the Dragon road connecting Tennessee and North Carolina

A Ferrari 488 Pista Spider has rolled over on the Tail of the Dragon road that connects Tennessee and North Carolina – also known as one of America's best driving roads.

The Italian supercar was part of the Epic Adventures Blue Ridge rally and was travelling on the southbound lane. It is said that the car hit a bump in the road known as the ‘Gravity Cavity MM3’ which caused the driver to lose control, hit a wall and topple the vehicle.

Thankfully, the driver escaped without any injuries and was able to crawl out thanks to the rollover hoops. However, the car is likely to be declared a write-off because it seems to have suffered structural damage.

  • That is a ridiculous road and is actually not very fun simply because it has become too popular and far too much traffic and there are also far too many jackass's on sport bikes and sports cars going 3 times the posted speed riding right up on my rear tire trying to push people to go faster than they want or are comfortable with.
