Ferrari 'Essentials' DLC pack coming to Project Cars 2

1y ago

Those who love a certain Italian brand with a prancing horse for a logo are getting an expansion pack for Project Cars 2 that will be right up their street.

The Project Cars 2 Ferrari Essentials DLC was accidentally leaked back when the game launched a year ago, making it rather lacking in the surprise department. Only now there is a video to show you exactly what you get for your money.

Arguably the most interesting is the Ferrari F40, which has been a blast to drive in other racing games. The 458 Speciale Aperta, meanwhile, provides Italian supercar brilliance from more recent times.

Then there is the F12tdf, which makes up for ignoring the use of capital letters with sensational pace, the even faster FXX K (the one with the weird rear spoiler) and the famous 250 Testa Rossa.

You can also hoon around in a Ferrari F355 Challenge, 512 BB LM and the 250 GT Berlinetta, which is certainly one of the more stunning offerings.

Track-wise, there are two more to enjoy and both are Italian. Mugello in Tuscany is 3.26 miles of corners, while Fiorano is Ferrari's own test track that also just so happens to have the same number of corners as Mugello (14).

What the video fails to mention is the release date. But we would hazard a guess that soon is likely, potentially the 22nd of September as that is the Project Cars 2 birthday.
