The Ferrari F40 is a mid-engine rear-wheel sportscar produced from 1987 to 1992. In this time 1'311 units were produced. It was designed to celebrate Ferraris 40th anniversary and it was the last Ferrari that was personally apporved by Enzo Ferrari. At it's time it was the fastest, most expensiv and most powerful Ferrari. The cars did have air conditioning, but had no sound system, door handles, glove box, leather trim, carpets, or door panels.
The F40 was powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 with 471hp and had a topspeed of 317km/h (197mph).
