Ferrari is the world's most dishonest automaker
Ferrari evokes many emotions; speed, power, handling, passion, and in my case, LIARS!
Allow me to explain, because despite their obvious beauty and performance, Ferrari as a company feels the need to lie about pretty much anything and everything. This is so systematic that it seems that many people in Marinello don't seem to care anymore.
For example, the Ferrari Enzo is a truly excellent car, one which needn't be made any more special than it already is, but Ferrari begs to differ. Because while Ferrari claim that just 399 Enzos were built and sold from the Ferrari factory in Maranello the number is actually quite a bit ls greater than that, 94 greater to be exact. It seems that the people behind the prancing horse weren't as honest as they could have been, because as of now 493 unique Ferrari Enzo's have been documented through the popular car-spotting app Vin Wiki.
This isn't the only time Ferrari has been caught with its tail in-between its legs, because not only do Ferrari lie to their customers, they also lie to the press.
There have been frequent rumors and reports that Ferrari will "juice" up press cars for a specific journalist. So much so that they'll actually ask journalists what track they plan on driving the car at, so that they can fine tune it for that specific environment.
And all of this really baffles me, because it seems like Ferrari take themselves way too seriously. I mean they are well known for suing many of their more famous customers for having floor mats which Ferrari believe to be, "unsuitable for a vehicle of the caliber of a Ferrari". And this is ludicrous! Because even Bugatti who make some of the most expensive cars in the world don't feel the need to sue Flo Rida when he wraps his Bugatti Veyron in chrome.
Seriously Ferrari, calm down.
