Ferrari SF90 Stradale: to much design for me

Ahh yes Ferrari’s top car, it’s to much design for me

So you’ve probably heard of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Ferrari’s current flagship model. I think there’s to much hype. In this article I will discuss why I think this car is overrated in every way.

The part that bothers me the most is the front. Like the Roma it has these weird shaped lights. This is one of the main parts of the car that gives it its look. The bottom grille also has to many shapes in it. It somewhat looks like a modified Ferrari F8 Tributo with the overall shape of the car. The rear also likes insanely ugly with those weird box like lights. I also dislike those exhaust pipes and think they are to high up.

This is another modern Ferrari let down. Of course it has to be powered by a 4.0 L V8 because that totally stands for Ferrari. I’m kidding, a top notch Ferrari should use a V12 just like other top of the lines not a puny V8. I love the V8 but in a Ferrari like this it doesn’t even belong there. Matter of fact, the 812 Superfast, which is about $300,000 cheaper, uses a classic Ferrari V12. Not to mention this is a plug in hybrid which is totally a Ferrari think to do. 😉

Now the power on this car is actually pretty amazing. It has 986 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Now you do have to consider it has a hybrid boost which takes up the speed but also the price.

Price is a huge factor to consider when buying a supercar. This is one of the most overpriced cars ever! Okay so you could get a Mercedes AMG GTR for about $170,000 with the exact same engine. If you need something a little more, go for a McLaren 570s or Lamborghini Huracan. If you got an even higher budget a Ferrari F8 Tributo might work for you, which looks a lot like the SF90 and in my opinion and much better. Alright, alright, you have lots of money let’s say over $350,000 what car are you going for? The Ferrari 812 Superfast, McLaren 720s, or even a Lamborghini SVJ. Yes, you heard me right, you can get a Lamborghini SVJ for over $100,000 less than the SF90. And yes, those are all very nice and very fast cars.

Now interior is a big factor in buying an expensive supercar. Ferrari is known for their lavish interiors. Now it does have nice leather seats but that is pretty common on pricy cars like this. Ferrari’s also have very small infotainment screens which make it hard to do anything on them. I mean they all are pretty alike aside from the point that the SVJ and 720s have significantly larger screens. So does the SF90s interior make up for its price... no.

Well that wraps up my review. Comment down below which car you would take over the SF90 or if you would take the SF90. Thanks for reading!

  • Actually, many people aren't a big fan of this car, and I can't disagree with them. I mean, it's a good supercar, but just doesn't feel what a top tier Ferrari should be.

    • And it is not overated, how many people do you see that are drooling over it?

  • I think it looks really different from any supercar on the market right now, in a good way, of course. Add the Assetto Fiorano and mamma mia *chef's kiss*. That said, I'll take a Superfast, please and thank you.

  • It's sad that the flagship Ferrari is just a 458 Hybrid.

I mean, it's a serious performer, but it doesn't feel special. I'd rather have that silver 812 Superfast special edition they announced recently.
