Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia 2020
Some pictures from the 3rd leg of the competition
The Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia is a regularity race - open to Ferraris only - that pays homage to the yearly re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia. This year’s edition started from Brescia on October 22nd and preceded the historical cars on the same route of the 1000 Miglia.
Pictures were taken on Saturday 24th during the third and longest leg of the race; starting from Rome, the course headed north, passing by Siena first, to leave Tuscany through the Cisa Pass and reach Parma.
The cars eligible for the Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia are those manufactured from 1958 to 1990, defined as “historic”, and modern cars from 1991 on. The oldest car racing this year’s edition was a 1964 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 (not pictured), still younger than the older one racing the actual 1000 Miglia, a 166 Inter Spider Corsa from 1948.
