Ferrari unveils a special edition 812 Superfast with an 819hp V12
It features the highest-revving and most powerful V12 to ever leave the Ferrari factory
Ferrari has just unveiled a brand-new special edition of the 812 Superfast which features an 819hp V12 and looks to die for.

It is described as being "the ultimate expression of Ferrari's concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta." It is yet to be named, but will most likely have a traditional historic title to compliment its marvellous stature.
Ferrari has increased its power from the standard 812's 789hp all the way up to 819hp which will provide a glorious Italian opera of an exhaust note from the car's naturally-aspirated V12. It also revs all the way up to 9500rpm, which is somethig only dreams are made of.
In terms of performance stats, it is likely this variant of the 812 Superfast will be able to get from 0-62mph in around 2.5sec reach above 211mph. Ferrari has not confirmed any official performance figures, but instead has promised the engine will deliver "pure but brutal power".
Alongside these performance upgrades, the special edition has also received some rather impressive-looking styling upgrades which make the car appear more track-focussed and angry like a coiled viper waiting to strike on its hopeless prey.
Ferrari has not said how many will be made, but one thing can be certain, it will cost a hell of a lot more than the 'standard' 812 Superfast's base price of £260,000.
