This is my Ferrari 308 GTB, a car I've coveted since childhood. I still think it's one of Pininfarina's best works, and although these things aren't bargain Ferraris any more, they're still a fraction of the cost of a 246 Dino, and I think prettier.
This is an early 'full power' (though that's only around 255bhp) car on carburettors, which makes for a delightful induction snarl under load. This can be enjoyed through the open driver's window, and that's just as well, since the driver's window is often quite reluctant to close.
Note, if you will, the correct STANDARD 14-inch wheels and deep rubber. The car was on optional and disgusting 15-inchers when I first viewed it, but the good people of The Ferrari Centre in Kent agreed to unpimp it as part of the deal. Their showroom is well worth a visit if you're interested in 'modern classic' Fezzas, though they're worse than useless for groceries and small economical Suzukis.
I was, ironically, a bit Billy No-Mates on the day I made this short film, so I was unable to incorporate any driving. This is just a brief debut. I'll put up some blacktop action in the future. Enjoy.
Note period graphics.
