  • Its critical to drive them. If they aren't driven then they are mechanical sculptures rather than cars. With the drive towards self-driving electric cars if people don't get out and drive their classics the ability to do so may be lost completely.

    • yes yes yes completely agree! Hopefully the roads won't become too impossible to keep up with in older cars - it seems a shame to have to modify for the sake of just keeping up with normal traffic. Excluding safety, of course.

  • Actually, cars need to be driven not just so they won't be "statues". Most of cars' internal components are made of metal, and if metal just stands here motionless, it catches rust and dissolves. Taking a car out for the ride sort of polishes internal components of a car, thus they don't catch rust.

  • More so for Newer Cars , with all the Chemicals in Today Fuel , Oils - But - Mostly the Sad Dead Battery - 1 little mistake and Your New Ride is Off to get Either get all It's Key remade and or Computer _ CEM or Security - Redone to the Tune 1K Min. ! (( Older Vehicles )) You able to Pull the Battery _ Unit the Next Time - Like Spring - till Fire it up ..

    Modern Computerized Vehicles , with Key-less & Security Items , Haaa forget it Your Screwed , must be Driven every 3 weeks , Need Freaking Baby Sitter !
