Great time at the launch of the Trumpet's new mud-plugger/street-trasher last night at London's Excel. It was fun to catch up with some old faces in the biking world - some very old (no names, Steve Parrish) - and some new ones too. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the bikes are fitted with controls to operate your Go-Pro on the fly from buttons on the bars. Expect a naff video from me to appear on here as soon as I get my hands on one.
The bike looks great and yes, I can touch the ground. Though the eagle-eyed will spot that I'm perched on the slightly more street-oriented version rather than the (taller) muddier one.
Yuip, that's my foot on the ground. The other one, well that's a different foot.
There was even some racing going on in the crammed hall. The free drinks were welcome - thank you Triumph - and even had me thinking of joining the pros and having a go.......
Yes. No, I didn't .......
