First generation Mazda Luce

At the Petersen Automotive Museum, there was this first generation Luce. Named for the Italian word for "light", the car was designed by Bertone, making it look more European than its Mazda brethren. With three engine choices between a 1.8L and 1.5L inline four engine, and a 1.3L wankel rotary, the Luce was one of the first mass produced rotary engined cars in the world. From the Luce would spawn cars (in foreign markets) like the Mazda RX-4 and 929.
