    Key Points:

    1. General Motors has given a sneak peek of the 2023 GMC Hummer EV SUV.

    2. It should arrive with a two or three-motor setup, just like the truck version.

    3. 2023 is the expected arrival date of 2023 GMC Hummer SUV models.

General Motors provided a sneak peek of the GMC Hummer EV SUV during an investor video conference today. Not many details have been released by GM regarding the SUV version, but it's expected to have an ultra-loaded Edition 1 model in addition to two-motor and three-motor EV3X and EV2X models. The latter and EV3X models should come equipped with air suspension, four-wheel steering, GM's Super Cruise autonomous driving system, removable roof panels, and massive 35-inch tires.

The exterior is adorned by, in addition to the 35-inch tires, skid plates, wide fender flares, and an modernized front grille and headlights. The cabin will most likely benefit from the 13.4-inch infotainment screen that's also found in the recently debuted pickup variant. Also from the pickup will probably come a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and the same overall design. Unlike the pickup, however, the SUV is likely to have a third row of seats.

Pricing should begin slightly lower than the pickup, with the estimated starting price being around $75,000. GMC Hummer EV SUVs should appear on roads in 2023.

    • None. Why do we even need these monstrosities? Being EV doesn’t justify their depletion of resources. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      • You’re right, but it’s the only good EV. The best of all evils.

      • Care to elaborate on “it’s the only good EV”? It’s good because it’s an oversized SUV with EV drivetrain?

    • I have to agree with Cynical here. This is absolutely absurd. Sure, it looks cool to certain groups but do we really need this? The point behind EV is to use less not more. This screams excess. I realize some wish to relive the heyday of the roaring 20's in our time but it's going to end the same way. Buy this then jump out of a window in a year. Save your pennies and buy a long-roof.

    • They said $112,500 $75,000 would be a steal!
