First pictures of the facelifted Hyundai i30!
Introduced in 2007, the Hyundai i30 was designed to replace the aging Accent and Elantra in Europe. The Korean compact car has made its way into the category's benchmark and is now in its third generation. This third generation, launched in 2017, will soon undergo a major refresh to keep it up to date.
Two official teaser images have been published to keep us waiting. They show the car lurking in the dark. Here, the facelifted i30 is painted in bright red and has the sporty N Line trim level. The front grille adopts notable changes on this sporty version with enlarged air intakes.
However, the most striking difference undoubtedly comes from the headlights, which gain an all-new, much more modern and aggressive look. The daytime running lights are now integrated into the headlights, whereas they were previously offset on the lower part of the bumper. These daytime running lights receive an angular shape.
The taillights should also change. In the passenger compartment, a number of aesthetic and technological changes are also expected. A sporty N version should arrive later. The 2020 Hyundai i30 will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5.
