It's been an emotional few weeks for the Custom & Hot Rod Life staff. We said goodbye to our 2004 GTO and welcomed a new car to the fleet (more on that later in the month). It's also time to put our old workhorse up for sale. It's been a good 5 year run, but a recent upgrade has made the little green machine redundant.
So the Chevy will go to the front yard with the above sign in it. I'll also stick it on Facebook Marketplace.
The little truck has hauled cars, parts, building materials and countless other things since I bought it out of a Kmart parking lot a little over 5 years ago. It really is one of the last true trucks made by the big three. Hopefully it can go on to helping others, like it helped me!
Keep on Cruisin'!

Since then he has worked in retail sales and the transportation and logistics industry. In 2018, seeing a gap in Hot Rod and Custom Car coverage on DRIVETRIBE, Chris began advocating for their inclusion on the platform. During the summer months, he can be found all over the Tennessee region covering car shows, meets, and cruise-ins. During the winter months, he can be found in the garage working on his custom 1949 Ford two-door sedan and 1954 F100 truck."
