I have a friend who just purchased a new Ford Focus RS, and he's pretty convinced it's a rally car. By "rally car," I don't mean a car than can go on dirt and hold its own; no, I mean he's ready to take his car as is and join the WRC right now. Who can blame him? It's an awesome car.

However, if you want an actual rally car, then you are in luck. The 1999 Ford Focus WRC car that Colin McRae and co-driver Nicky Grist used in the 1999 Rally Catalunya and Rally Tour de Corse is up for auction.

1999 was McRae's first year with Ford, who he stayed with until 2002. It's pretty neat that there's a chance to own a car he used from his inaugural season with the team.

The car is completely road legal and will come with its original FIA "Gold Book" techinical passport. The livery will be replaced by with a plain white color, so what you're getting is essentially a blank canvas. The car's value is estimated between 120,000 and 140,000 pounds.
