This is the Ford GT, the on again - off again exotic sports car from... Ford. During the 1960's Ford was considering buying Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari refused. So, Ford went out and created its own Ferrari beater. It became the thing of legends. Decades later, Ford wanted to create an homage to the original with modern mechanicals and reintroduced it to the public. Only problem they had was that somebody else had bought the GT-40 name plate. So, Ford decided to call it the GT instead (dropping the "40"). It was produced 2004-2006. However, Ford and it's fans both liked the car so much the they reintroduced an all new modernized version again in 2016. Stunningly, this time a twin turbo charge Ecoboost V6 motivates it instead of a V8 as found in the previous incarnations. The example below is one of the few produced from 2004-2006. It was spotted at the 2015 - 5th Annual Cool Cars for Cats and Canines - Exotic and Sports Car Show on the grounds of the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States.
