Ford will be recalling the Flex, its Lincoln cousin MKT, plus platform mate the Taurus SHO for rear toe links that have been prone to failure. There have been no accidents or injuries as a result of these failures, but Ford will replace both toe links with new, stronger forged ones. Notices have not gone out yet to customers, nor has NHTSA assigned a recall number yet, but get ready to take your Flex's in for service sometime in March. 227,884 vehicles are impacted with model years between 2013 and 2018.
