Ford Sierra 2.0 RS Cosworth 500 3dr Total Restoration

Black, This very special 1987 RS500 (No 53) is one of only 500 RHD Ford Sierra RS500's ever made. Chassis number GG39056 was first registered to Mr John Mitchell of Coventry by then the Official RS dealer, Brown and White (Coventry) Limited. Finished in Black with Grey cloth, it left the Tickford Newport Pagnall Aston Martin factory in August 1987 having arrived there on 22nd June 1987, to be delivered by Ford to Brown and White (Coventry) Limited. Recently the RS underwent a painstakingly sympathetic restoration with classic car specialist’s RS Classic’s in North Sheilds, West Yorkshire. The result of their work is a magnificently restored RS500 which now presents as new in a time-warp condition. Since new, the RS500 has had a total of 6 owners. The last recorded owner (Mr Young) purchased the vehicle in December 2004 and sold it only last year in March 2016 to RS Classic’s. From start to finish the restoration has been photographed and documented providing a detailed portfolio for the new owner. Within the large history file includes the original service book, original handbook, service bills/receipts and virtually every single MOT certificate to date. We believe this to be one of very few perfectly restored RS500’s with original parts and interior resulting in a near perfect example as if it was June 1987,
