Ford Super Duty, F-650, And F-750 Get Updates For 2021
New features, colors, and options will be added.
1. Ford has made some changes to their pickup truck lineup.
2. The Ford Super Duty will get new paint options, features, and refreshed styling.
3. The Ford F-650 and F-750 will also receive updates.
Ford has unveiled, alongside an abundance of other information, that the Ford Super Duty pickup truck, along with the F-650 and F-750, will be receiving updates for 2021. It will carry the same styling as the 2021 F-150 and add more features. This change isn't too drastic, the Super Duty received major updates last year and the next generation should be arriving within the next few years.
Starting with the Super Duty, Ford has added a bed-step as an option on all trim levels from XL to Platinum which, if you don't know, assists those who cannot manage to step into the taller bed. In addition, three new paint options are now available: Antimatter Blue, Carbonized Gray, and Lithium Gray. At the moment, it isn't confirmed if these will have an increased price.
Moving on to the F-650 and F-750, buyers can now spec an integrated air compressor with the 7.3 L engine. It can be used to power the air brakes, air suspension, air-ride seats, and more. Additionally, a new gauge cluster that supports the 7.3 L powertrain will be added alongside the full Driver Assistance Technology Package.
This is just another update, but it adds some helpful features. Refreshed styling is always a good thing, if it's done properly, and the added bed-step is nothing to complain about. Regarding the new paint options, they will be great, as long as they're free. I have always felt that the Ford Super Duty color array wasn't very expansive-this will fix that.
