Ford teases what would be the Bronco Raptor

Despite an obvious future success, Ford is in no hurry and is taking its time to prepare for the Bronco's arrival on the market. Thus, the new generation of the iconic 4X4 will only go into production in March 2021. However, the oval brand has posted a curious post on its Twitter account.

A fully camouflaged Bronco can be seen taking off. This allows us to appreciate the important suspension travel, which hints at a completely new and even sportier configuration of the Bronco. We may well be facing the future Bronco Raptor so long awaited by the fans.

Ford didn't say anything about that. All hypotheses are still possible. If that's the case, we shouldn't expect a V8 under the hood. Indeed, Ford recently confirmed that the Bronco will not receive a V8 engine. We will then most likely be entitled to the 3.5-litre V6 coming straight from the Ford F-150 Raptor.

Aesthetically speaking, the Bronco Raptor will adopt a different grille with darker colors. The bodywork will also be available in specific colors. The interior will also be more sporty with new bucket seats and driving modes. The vehicle should arrive in 2021.

  • Ford recently trademarked the name "Warthog." Hopefully it won't end up being the Bronco Warthog...
