Ford’s so-called "baby Bronco" SUV leaked!

The new Ford Bronco is almost here...and it's going to have a smaller "baby Bronco sibling".

2y ago

Pictures from a Ford presentation (to its dealers mind you) have leaked online. These pictures also gives us a good look at the actual "baby Bronco". Note that at this point in time we don't exactly know what Ford will christen its “baby Bronco”

The image shows us the front, the side profile as well as the front quarter view. The "baby Bronco" or "Puma" has a near-minimalistic styling. The vehicle also has similar dimensions and details as some Land Rover products (Range Rover style front fender vent).

The “baby Bronco” will slot in below the new Bronco. The new Bronco will be built alongside the US-spec Ranger in North America. It is, furthermore, expected to debut in 2019.

Carmag goes on to say that in August of 2018, a high-ranking Ford executive confirmed the small SUV would ride on a version of latest Focus.

The new Bronco model will share parts with both the fourth-generation Focus and the upcoming next-generation Kuga. Note the Kuga is also known as the Escape in some parts of the world.

Earlier reports suggested the new small SUV would be called the “Maverick”. What do you think the new "baby Bronco" will be called? Vote down below.

  • Wonder if they'll give it some weird un-Fordish name. Like maybe "Doppelkupplungsgetriebe"

  • Oh wow, an other unimaginative cash cow. Honestly it’s like DJ Khaled has started designing cars. Overrated bland crap that looks the same and sounds the same as everything else with him shouting “and another one” as they roll off the production line in their millions.
