Forza Horizon 5: 10 things we know so far
Two new Forza Horizon 5 gameplay videos from Gamescom 2021 reveal new features, new cars and other cool stuff. Here is a convenient summary.
2021 has been a decent year for gaming, especially for those who love racers. And it appears we will be finishing on a high with the release of Forza Horizon 5 on PC and Xbox consoles. That is what the video below is all about.
The November 2021 release date is far enough away for developer Playground Games and Microsoft to save the juiciest details until later. However, two recent gameplay videos that debuted at Gamescom 2021 provide a glimpse of what we can expect.
And what it appears we will be getting is an even prettier, more detailed, more in-depth and more speed-minded racing game. One set in Mexico, a far cry from Forza Horizon 4's rolling fields and quaint housing in the UK.
From dense jungle, fiery volcanoes and snow-tipped peaks to dense jungle, underground caves and busy city streets, it should prove difficult to get bored. Especially as there are already so many cars confirmed for Forza Horizon 5 at launch.
Now that is what you call aero
Forza Horizon 5 is also shaping up to be an even prettier game than its predecessor, with those who managed to get an Xbox Series X or Series S treated to 4K visuals at a creamy smooth frame rate.
There is even a limited edition controller (seen in the video), which comes with some unique digital content including a Forza Edition car. Priced at around £60, it is by no means cheap. But then it is cheaper than that limited edition Halo: Infinite alternative.
The Forza Horizon 5 release date is the 5th of November 2021 for the fancy Premium edition, which costs more. Four days later you can buy the Deluxe or Standard versions, or play as part of Xbox Game Pass.

I've actually got both the deluxe edition of game and the controller on preorder for Xmas :D
I am not jealous. Not at all. Nope.
Same here, sometimes I just open the game, I choose one of my dream cars and drive , no races, no competitions, just fun. Probably 5 will be even better, as I said, I can't wait
I can't wait, I love these games so much
Me too, loads of hours in Forza Horizon 4. Hopefully 5 is as good.
Another thing to know abou Forza Horizon 5:
I, will be banned after 2 months for absolutly nothing, just like in 2 games be4
Hopefully not although the ban hammer can be cruel.
Decent year for gaming… Mate have you looked at the PC prices?
Well PC hardware price spikes are a small part of gaming. I also have a gaming PC. But the number of decent games, plus two console launches, makes it a decent year for gaming if you ask me.
Except that those consoles are basically PCs with a custom OS, and their prices are all over the place as well, not to mention even if you could afford and justify the price, it’s not readily available to purchase it n the first place
