As many of you know, Forza Horizon 5 will have the largest map of any Forza Horizon game. A couple days ago they showcased the FH5 map, with many hidden little locations that many of you probably didn't bother looking at. I am here to show you these locations, and explain my thoughts. I will be showing the major landmarks first (which are the little grey rectangle signs), then move onto the areas and biomes (the white text)

Lets start on the northwest coast, with this, the Bahia De Plano. This translates to "Flat bay". I assume this is going to be a pretty cool pre-running area, and we might even see a drag strip on it like the one in FH4. There also seems to be some sort of ruins here.

.

.

Further south, you will see El Arco De Cabo San Lucas, which translates to "The Arch of Cape San Lucas". We have seen this place in trailer footage and gameplay footage.

.

.

Southeast of this, there are 3 landmarks around here. One is De Otro Mundo, which translates to "From another world". This is a weird one, but after closer inspection, these are actually 2 crop circles, famous for being called UFO landing locations. Southwest of this we can see the Club De Opalo De Fuego (Fire Opal Club), which seems to be a golf course, and Palacio Azul Del Oceanio (Oceanio Blue Palace). Both of these we have seen in last week's race showcase.

.

.

East of this is the town of Mulege, and Mision Santa Rosalia de Mulege (Mission Santa Rosalia de Mulege). We saw glimpses of these in this week's race showcase

.

.

South of Mulege is one of FH5's 3 airports, Aerodromo En La Silva (Aerodromo In La Silva)

.

.

East of Mulege is Sierra Verde Dam. Maybe a drag race location?

.

.

Heading back up North, we meet the Volcano. This has two landmarks on it, Caldera and Gran Telescopio (Large telescope). This is the highest point on any Forza game.

.

.

East of the Volcano is El Stadio Horizon (Horizon Stadium). This is where most of the Horizon Arcade events will occur. Anyone else getting Trackmania vibes?

.

.

North of this is the city of Guanajauto. I assume this will be the main city for FH5. It has many underground tunnels to play with.

.

.

North of Guanajauto is Hotel Castillo Santa Cecilia

.

.

East of this we have two locations, the Copper Canyon and Hotel Mirador Balderrama

.

.

Southeast of the canyon is a small canyon lol, the Valle de Las Rainas (Frog Valley)

.

.

East is the Playa Tranquilia (Calm Beach)

.

.

South West of this is Los Jardines (The Gardens). This is the start of the super-highway that goes to the other side of the map.

.

.

South of this is Playa Azul (Blue Beach), which I believe is another city/town.

.

.

South of this is Tulum, one of the many Mayan ruins

.

.

5 Locations here: Teotihuacan (which I'll talk about later), Granjas De Tapalpa (Tapalpa farms), Atlantes De Tula (Atlanteans of Tula), Cascades de Agua Azul (Blue Water Cascades) and Ek' Balam

.

.

Three locations west of this: Gran Puente (Great Bridge), Uxmal and San Sebastian. Click to enlarge photo.

.

.

Back to Teotihuacan, this is a large Mayan complex. With a drag strip through it. Thanks Forza.

.

.

West of this is San Juan. I don't know what this is to be honest.

.

.

Now that is all the main landmarks, time to move onto the larger areas.

We start with three areas: Dunas Blancas (White Dunes), Lago Blanco (White Lake) and Descansar Dorado (Golden Rest). There seems to be a motocross track here.

.

.

Tierra Prospera (Prosperous Land)

.

.

Four locations here, Riviera Maya, Pantano de la Selva (Jungle Swamp), Gran Pantano (Great swamp), Cascadas de Pantano (Pantano waterfalls).

.

.

Cordillera (Mountain range)

.

.

Colinas Aridas (Arid Hills)

.

.

Two locations here: Baja California and Costa Rocosa (Rocky coast)

.

.

The final area on the FH5 map, La Selva

.

.

That's all for the named locations and areas but I thought I would also show the main Horizon Festival as well.

.

.

I will possibly be making 2 other part regarding the map: one will be showing all the locations seen in gameplay footage, the other will be comparing the FH5 landmarks and areas to their real life counterparts.

This took a very long time to make, and I would appreciate if you bump and give a comment

Thanks for reading, and have a nice week.
