French F4: Aradhya starts his international single-seater season at Paul Ricard
The Indian's sole aim was to gain as much experience to build upon it for future races.
Yash Aradhya started his international campaign in the FFSA French F4 championship's 2020 season's Round 4 at Paul Ricard in the #71 Mygale M14 car - which houses 2.0 liter Renault Sport naturally aspirated engine and uses Pirelli tyres.
It was not only his first time in the car but also at the F1 circuit as he looks to compete in the rest of the season with three more rounds to go. It wasn't an easy run with damp conditions to start the weekend as Aradhya was 14th in practice and qualifying respectively.
After the wet tyres used for qualifying, the field were back on dry compounds for Race 1 where Aradhya ended up 13th in his first race. He was involved in some good battles at the back of the field, which was same in Race 2 but he couldn't see the chequered flag in it.
A puncture derailed his good run, thereby, limiting his experience with the cars as well. For Race 3, Aradhya ended up 14th in a straightforward race as he soaked up some track time to build on for the future races, with the next one at Spa-Francorchamps on October 16-18.
One returns to racing as another starts his international career.
