From twisty mountain roads to driving along shore; my travel to north of Canada.
Canada is cold, but who said you can't enjoy driving in cold weather?
My travel started from Montreal on Friday evening along with my friends, it went up to Acropole des Draveurs, Pin Blanc, Notre-Dame-des-Monts, and it ended Sunday night back in Montreal. I covered more that 1000Km on this trip.

On Friday evening I drove around 3 hours to get to our accommodation in Beaupré, Quebec. The beginning of this trip was like other trips full of energy, enthusiast and singing along even if it was dark and we couldn't enjoy the landscape.
The next day on Saturday morning, we headed up to Charlevoix Region around 40 minutes at the north of our accommodation in Beaupré and visited "Baie-Saint-Paul" city. This part of the road included heavy high slopes and down hills which made the driving more exciting and even more tricky than the first night. At some points I had to down shift from fifth to forth gear and despite that, the rev of the engine still was decreasing!!!
The architecture of the Baie-Saint-Paul downtown was so close to western towns, and I didn't expect that kind of structure at all. In the afternoon we had our lunch at a local bakery and visited the beautiful vast area of Baie-Saint-Paul beach.
In the evening a friend of mine suggested we visit a local bar at Quebec city and I agreed. So we drove to south about half an hour to Quebec city. The down town of Quebec city has a same architecture as ancient Europe buildings. The bar was huge and not even close to a local pub you would imagine; but it was a great adventure that night.
On Sunday morning we decided to see the "Acropole des Draveurs, Pin Blanc, Notre-Dame-des-Monts" national park which was an hour and half away from our place. On our way to get there I got to drive on amazing countryside and even dirt roads with picturesque landscapes. Among them all, the twisty mountain road ending to the national park was one of the best driving experience I have ever had.

The read to the "Montagne des Érables"
The second highlight of this trip was the beautiful piece of road between Quebec city and Beaupré, which I passed four times, and it was along the shore of Saint Lawrence river. Driving beside the water is just magic, isn't it?

At the end we got back to Montreal around 10pm on Sunday evening and all that has been left is the great memories of this magnificent road trip.

Dude, that distance is a daytrip, nowhere near northern Canada, and those are not mountains.
