Originally revealed at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, the Koenigsegg Jesko is Koenigsegg's newest "mega-car". Named after Christian von Koenigsegg's father Jesko von Koenigsegg - the Jesko is a culmination of a thank you to his father for guiding him in the early years of Koenigsegg Automotive.

The Jesko is powered by a 5.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine kicking out 1280 horsepower on gasoline and 1600 horsepower on E85 biofuel and controlled via a new 9-speed Koenigsegg Light Speed Transmission (LST). It also features over 1000kg of downforce, active rear-wheel steering , and a new re-designed carbon fiber chassis giving the driver more legroom, headroom and greater visibility

In the video above, you get a unique detailed walkthrough of the Jesko by none other than the visionary who made it happen and puts his name on the car - Christian von Koenigsegg. This might be as close as you will be lucky to see this unique machine. For all the details, check out Koenigsegg's video above!

  • With the best will in the world, Mr. King's Egg is hardly an unbiassed source of information. He won't tell us he's a bit sorry the springs are not very comfy, for example. Sure, he'll know all the details, these are such limited production cars there's barely a standard one to be found and he probably lives in the attic over his workshop for convenience, to tighten that last screw because he can't get to sleep until it's perfect. I'm not even remotely envious of anyone who can afford one of these... not even a tiny bit (why is my nose growing longer?)

  • UGH! Can't believe how the video drowned out the engine!

  • Christian Von Koenigsegg is one of the most public CEO's, and also one of the nicest. I met him a couple of years ago and he was happy to answer my questions.
