Gamers, here is the best car simulator in the world!
It's coming from none other than Aston Martin, Banzai!
What ignites in us the affection for cars? It's probably video games. From the days of the NFS series to the contemporary icons such as the Asphalt series, Grid and WRC games, it has come a long way spurring in us intense feeling about race cars and games. To give us a superfluous feeling as if we are in the virtual world, came simulators endowed with a stubby steering wheel, sporty seats and brake and accelerator pedals nudging us to clinch the race.
While there is a smorgasbord of simulators now available to us, here is the best and perhaps the most expensive one you'd have laid your eyes on. It comes via a partnership between the British supercar maker Aston Martin and British technology company, Curv Racing Simulators and is called the AMR-C01.
The simulator looks snazzy and comes graced in yellow and green livery with green stripes on the body for a tantalising look. The front even gets red accents with black outline to exude a strong character. The facade is styled exactly to look like the Aston Martin family grille. The overall shape might crib a Jet ski with wing like kinks protruding out on its sides.
The seat and its layout appears to be identical to the Aston Martin Valkyrie's seats with leather paddings across the surface. The iconic brand says the simulator gets a lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque and is technologically advanced for an immersive gaming experience. The wide screen certainly confirms that.
However, Aston Martin has planned just 150 examples of this state of the art driving simulator with each one stretching up to 57,500 GBP without any taxes. Set to be delivered in the last quarter of this year, the racing simulator is for those hard-core gamers who want the best of technology and precision in driving to the last degree. Expensive, but as with most things, when have original company certified things changed hands for trifle?
