The Lamborghini Miura is one of the greatest cars ever made in Italy. It has adorned our bedroom walls for many years and will continue to do so because of its sheer elegance and class.

But if you think that the standard Miura looks good then think again. Meet the 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S by Bertone - a Lambo with bare metal finish that will surely steal you soul.

This particular Miura you see here has not seen the road many times and has spent the majority of its life hidden in a Californian garage for a whopping four decades. After its time in the garage was over, an enthusiast bought it and fully restored the car. The bare metal has been given to this Miura by Morgan Images.

While the car doesn't have its original grey paintwork, it does have the lovely blue interior that it had when it rolled out of the Lamborghini factory many years ago.

This Miura, chassis number 4761, has just 16,000 miles on the odometer. Being a true petrolhead's dream, this exotic Lamborghini is set to fetch an eye-watering $1,800,000 - $2,200,000 at RM Sotheby's.

  • Even in California, it would be hard to keep that bodywork looking so good. I'd get it painted with clearcoat.

    • It HAS to be clear coated! No matter how this is stored it will develop rust as it sits 😬

Chemicals in the atmosphere salt in the atmosphere, bare untreated metal doesn't like being exposed to anything.

    • It's aluminium, so no rust, but yeah.
