Gentleman's Road Trip to Reep Midlands...
Join The Gentleman Racer as we head over to Big Boys Playground - Reep Midlands.
So, one cold Wednesday morning in December I receive a phone call from a Mr. Pete George at Reep Midlands. "Tom, we've got some toys in that I think you'll appreciate." - Firing up the 453bhp Italian V8 came next, and I find myself hurtling North on the M1 in Maserati's fine GranTurismo, Sport mode engaged, and my fingers wrapped tightly around the alcantara covered thick rimmed wheel.

Tom HowardLeaving James to do his stuff, we amble inside to the big boys playground laying in wait.
Arriving into Reep Midlands is always a pleasure. These are guys who know their market, their customer, and take pride in in their work. Being ushered around the rear on to the wash platform, I'm already in good company. A Nero Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Aston Martin Vantage Nürbergring Edition, and TVR Sagaris lined up beautifully along one side. There's coffee and pastries waiting in their customer relaxation suite, and Pri - co owner - greets me with a warm embrace. Today is going to be good.
Their talented SwissVax expert James, takes the Trident key off my hands and proceeds to work his magic on the paintwork. Seriously - I would't take this car anywhere else. The man is a magician! Leaving James to do his stuff, we amble inside to the big boys playground laying in wait.

BMW i8, Porsche 911 Targa, Ferrari 360 finished in the classic Maranello Red - with Pete's private plate adorning the front bumper. That's just the first 10 feet! Three paint inspection bays, named after icons - Silverstone, Yas Marina, Automobile Club de Monaco, each filled with something equally special. Pete's Ferrari, K.I.T.T. of Knight Rider fame, and the pièces de résistance - a glorious Porsche 912 in for some paint correction.

Over on the far side was two talents in themselves, Olliee Wildsmith a self taught photographer and Rufus from Rufless Films. their work features throughout this piece, and showcases their talent to their art. Whilst they were getting some great images and video, we retreated to the conference room on site, where we spoke at length about the exciting opportunities on offer in 2017. It was quite the refreshing conversation, and built strong foundations of what is to come.
Bacon Sandwiches done, Westend Chauffeurs arrived in their gargantuan Rolls Royce Phantom. Featuring white wall tyres and standing at an impressive length, there wasn't much that could match the visual impact of the RR Phantom...Apart from the Maybach lurking around the corner on the delivery platform!
As far as Wednesdays go, this one will stand out for a while. Great company, great conversation and one hell of a talented team at Reep Midlands. Look out for some forthcoming features where we'll be taking an epic road trip in some special cars. TGR.
