Get ready to get angry at this classic electric Porsche
500 bhp and 500 Nm
First of all, I wanna start by saying I'm very proud of myself because that's literally the opposite of a clickbait headline, or Ben Welham's special, as some people call it. This is a classic a Porsche, and it's powered by electricity, and a lot of people won't like that.
Built by a tuning company in Oxfordshire called Everrati, this 'redefined' Signature Porsche 911 964 is powered by an electric powertrain and a 53 kWh battery pack, producing 500 bhp and 368 lb-ft, good enough for a 0-60 time in less than 4 seconds and 150 miles of range.
Everrati says the car was "engineered by an elite team" of engineers with extensive experience in OEM, motorsport and even aerospace technology, and developed in partnership with BTCC champion Tim Harvey.
They started by stripping the car down to its bare parts and then reassembling it again with carbon fibre components. The monocoque chassis is water-blasted and zinc-coated for rust prevention, the car's aluminium rear suspensions arms have been retained but customers can also opt for fully adjustable suspension with adaptive dampers.
Several paint options are available, along with a range of 17-inch or 18-inch wheels and inside, you'll find 'Porsche Classic Communications Management', an infotainment system comprising bluetooth, Apple Car Play and a sat-nav that Porsche specifically designed for some of its classic models. The seats are made from carbon fibre and can be upholstered in Alcantara, leather or 'other materials' (they don't say which materials).
This is technically a conversion, which means that if you're interested, you're going to have to BYOP (Bring Your Own Porsche) and you're also going to have to be willing to fork out £250,000 plus taxes.
