Glickenhaus shared a teaser image of Le Mans Hypercar Racer
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, founded by American film producer and automotive entrepreneur James Glickenhaus, has just released a teaser image of a new mid-engined vehicle that will be developed for endurance racing. Even though Glickenhaus hasn't shared any specifics or details, it definitely looks promising and the only thing we know so far is that it's called the ‘Glickenhaus LMP1.’ Well, at least that's what the description says.
There are a couple of details that caught our eye when looking at the teaser image. The car, which sits on Michelin tyres and wheels the colour of gold, comes with a big rear diffuser, an F1-inspired central rain light, two tailpipes and round taillights.
Scuderia Glickenhaus will take part in the "Hypercar" class of the World Endurance Championship and theoretically, they were going to utilize the upcoming 007. They also said that the car we see here is going to enter the hypercar class but they didn't say whether this is going to be the actual car they're going to use instead of the 007, or if it is the road legal version built for homologation requirements.
Either way, the car should be powered by a 650 hp engine driving the rear wheels, coupled with a 150 hp KERS system on the front axle.
