Taking account of the 996 GT2's near 322 kph (200 mph) top-speed, Porsche designed a new front bumper that channelled air through the front radiators and then up and out through an air outlet at the base of the bonnet. The latter outlet design created a suction effect, pulling the car’s nose into the ground. The image we found in the archive demonstrates that process perfectly.
