Good News: Spyker is coming back!
The Dutch supercar-maker is making a comeback
Remember Spyker? No? Ok then, time for a short history lesson.
Spyker were a Dutch-supercar manufacturer who were responsible for the beautiful C8. The C8 was one of the most beautiful and rare supercars to date. At the Geneva Motor Show 2016, they previewed us the C8 Preliator (pictured above). The Preliator looked promising. It had an all-aluminum space frame chassis and was powered by an Audi-sourced supercharged 4.2-liter V8 engine that developed 525 horsepower.
Then, they suddenly disappeared. Now though, they have got funding from SMP Racing owner Boris Rotenberg and his business partner, Michail Pessis and look ready for a fresh start.
Spyker will now be blessing us with the D8 Peking-to-Paris SUV and the B6 Venator supercar. Yes!
”We really look forward to become a part of this new chapter for the epic Spyker brand. Our group of companies will launch the Spyker brand successfully in the league of the world’s best super sportscars”, said Boris Rotenberg and Michail Pessis.
It looks like Spyker is ready to make an outstanding comeback and we can't wait for their new cars to be unveiled in 2021.
