Jeremy Clarkson has revealed on DriveTribe that the Citroën DS he was supposed to be testing has broken down.
He posted a photo of the car being tended to by AA respondents, with the caption 'Citroen on test this week'.
He admitted on Twitter that he had not dealt with the situation well, revealing that he had 'wailed and gnashed his teeth'.
Shifting Lanes can reveal that this is a grey Citroën DS 7 Crossback registered in January 2018. It is the 2.0-litre diesel Ultra Prestige Performance Line model, and is registered in the UK.
If this test is to feature in The Grand Tour, what will Clarkson make of it? Might it be tested alongside other SUVs, driven by Hammond and May? If so, what might they be, and how would they compare?

Meanwhile, as was exclusively revealed by Shifting Lanes, Clarkson recently tested another SUV, the Lamborghini Urus, at the Arjeplog winter testing facility in northern Sweden.
