#Renault's new #MeganeRS lands in South Africa in Q2 2018, bringing with it tons of expectation. #RenaultSport have been renowned for building the world's best hot hatches, and while the new Megane RS' looks have left many RS fans disappointed, everyone is cambering to see if it delivers in terms of performance. Powering the front-wheel driven RS is the turbocharged 1.8-litre motor from the Alpine sports car, massaged to yield a claimed 205kw and 390nm. A 6-speed manual is standard but for the first time a 6-speed DCT is also offered, as well as optional rear-wheel steering. No #Nürburgring lap times have been announced as yet though. There’s also a 220kw/400nm Trophy version coming before the end of 2018, with the Cup chassis and 19 inch rims as standard. #TunedAutomotive #SomeShitAboutCars
